New Year with an Oriental Twist at The Grand Millennium Dubai

Laurent A. Voivenel, CEO of HMH – Hospitality Management Holdings, was among the key speakers yesterday at Hospitality Expansion Middle East Summit. Addressing the delegates, he spoke on the significance of 2020 for the hospitality industry in the UAE and beyond.

Highlighting the need for more mid-market hotels, Laurent stated, “If Dubai is to draw 20 million visitors annually by 2020 it will need to diversify its hospitality offering in order to widen its appeal to growing middle class worldwide. Top Fashion Designers Light Up the Ramp at The Wedding Fair at The Ajman Palace Hotel

In celebration of the wedding season, the two-day Wedding Fair at The Ajman Palace Hotel kicked off to a dazzling start on February 12 with a spectacular bridal fashion show. On the catwalk was a gorgeous mix of bridal gowns and evening dresses by some of the leading names in local and international bridal wear. The Australian-founded StayWell Hospitality Group hosted its global management gathering last week including all joint venture partners. Held in Dubai at the Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel, the conference was a significant occasion for the fast growing hotel group and marked the first strategic planning opportunity with all regions present.

Having already amassed 34 properties across Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Middle East, New Zealand, United Kingdom and Singapore, StayWell CEO and Managing Director, Simon Wan was joined by joint venture partners from the Middle East, South Africa, India, Britain and Greater China across the four day event.

The StayWell key executives and business leaders covered off brand development workshops, unveiled development plans and strategy for the StayWell and Mantis South Africa joint venture and workshop regional development for all markets including the Middle East and Europe, South East Asia, India, Australia and New Zealand.
